HAPPY TAILS UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN

What's with people who keep their dog in an outside pen all day and night?

This poor dog was so bored he wore a rut in the ground running back and forth just to have something to do.

It was obvious no one had interacted or played with him in quite some time.

He just kept running back and forth, robot like, and didn't even bark, much less stop, when I walked over to take his picture.

Maybe I'm out of line, but a pet shouldn't be a live lawn ornament.

"... a pet shouldn't be a live lawn ornament."

You took the words right out of my mouth.

sadly, most people don't deserve to have pets.

While that's true, I'm happy that the dog _was_ in a pen. Don't get me started on irresponsible pet owners who let dogs - and surprisingly, cats - roam around at will around the neighborhood. Then they yell at you when, despite all that you try and do to avoid it, their pet gets killed because you hit it.

I agree with concerned vet. My brother has reported people in the past. Poor pooch- all they want is to give lots of love to someone.

I like animals,I really do! However I must go on record as disgusted with all those do gooders who insist on attaching human like qualities and rights to animals, both domestic and feral.

I will support animal rights when and only when people stop placing babies in dumpsters, when children no longer go to sleep hungry, when we have solved our inhumanity against our citizens.

It seems that some of our priorities have gone askew in this country.
I'm sure I've got someone's fur flying now,eh?
