WHERE'S THE BIRD FLU WHEN YOU NEED IT?
We need a plague ... or maybe just the threat of a plague.
There are too many cars with too many drivers on the roads in this crowded little state of New Jersey.
Today was the third time in a week I've sat in traffic up to my eyeballs coming to work. The 25-minute commute ... 90 minutes.
Now a plague scare, on the other hand, might just do the trick. Not that I want any of my family members, friends or anyone I know to actually get the plague. OH NO!
I just want all those other people who clog up the Parkway and build houses in the little bit of open space we have left to move to Kansas.
There's no place like home, Dorothy.

this is a test to see if this comes through
Good Afternoon Diana,
The highways are clogging up where ever you live and work. I lived walking distance to my school where I taught. I always had to be dressed up when I was out in public. My husband did not want to walk with me. It does feel good to be close to work timesaving too.
AHHH, don't wish for that! Maybe someone could invent a gasoline virus that attacks SUV's, then you could get to work faster.
EWWW, wolfshadow who would want to live at work? Then you could never fake being sick, they would just knock on your door. Not to mention they could install big-brother type survelance equipment. SCARY!
A virus for SUV’s????? There were a lot of smaller cars than SUV’s on the road today. Maybe all those small cars could take the small roads or move over to the small lane and give the big boys some room to pass!
hope your dearly departed Purdy did not have the dreaded bird flu, or poor Pinkie could be next!aayyy
chihuahua!
Hi Diana,
There Are too many cars on the roads in this state, you got that right,Girl! We've been in Forked River for 5 years, & the increase in traffic is horrendous! The only thing worse than So Jersey traffic is No Jersey traffic. However, drivers weaving in & out, tailgating, driving like maniacs, especially on the GSP, is not helpful to sr citizens or any one else on the road. Maybe we'll move to Pennsy or Delaware next!
