FRIENDLY ADVICE

It's good to have friends.

I'm very thankful for mine ... all two of them.

I may not have many, but at least I know the ones I have like me anyway, even if I just happen to walk through their screen door.

Hey, it was dusk and everything was gray!

It almost was as embarrassing as when I tripped over my flip-flops walking down the aisle at my wedding. Hippy days, what can I say?

Like good friends should be, though, my hosts were very gracious and declined my offer to pay for the bent door.

At least I gave everyone a good laugh.

Isn't that what friends are for?

Good Friends are like Angels sent from God. Angels can walk through anything that they want without feeling guilty!

However, sometimes they do get their wings bent trying to walk through brick walls-BE CAREFUL

Think about it this way, your friends are just happy not only to have you but to be able to have a screen door!

Ref: Friendly Advice

I would like to come to your defence, walking into a screen door, regardless of the unfavorable visual conditions.
By your own admission, you tripped and fell at your own wedding.
I bet this is not the first screen door you destroyed? Therefore, I have a little problem defending you.
I am also puzzled you having only two friends? You are a Journalist. If you were a Lawyer I could understand.
Well. Regardless, I love your column and your style of writing.

Pula's Uncle. Just an other clumsy clunk.

Clarification: I did not fall at my wedding, only stumbled. I should have known it wasn't going to go right when I found out our priest's name was Father Blewitt.

I honestly have 0 friends because I have 4 sisters who are the only friends I need..everyone else just cordial acquaints in neighborhood, job, etc..so is not unusual..I always am suspicious of those with so-called 4 best friends, etc..support system diff than true friend, but good to have both for diff situations in life..I know I have been around awhile
