IS HE GAY OR NOT?

Elizabeth Stone, ghostwriter of Dina Matos McGreevey's book "Silent Partner" due to be released May 1, told a Fordham University panel that she doesn't think former New Jersey Governor Jim McGreevey is gay.

No wonder Dina McGreevey's confused.

How you can live with someone for 10 years, have a baby with him before he publicly confesses that he's gay and then be told "no he's not gay," only bi-sexual?

I mean, this poor woman's head must be spinning.

Dina did the right thing when she told her husband to take a long walk off a short pier.

Here is my theory. McGreevey was sexually abused by a Catholic priest as a child (just my opinion - I don't know this). Therefore, he acts out sexually because he is a sex addict. He uses sex as a weapon of power and it is a deviant act in his subconscious because of the abuse. I do not believe that homosexuality is deviant, but I think McGreevey's secret life was bizarre. I actually believe that true homosexuals are biologically that way and should be respected for their lifestyles. However, I do believe that there are some people who "act out" sexually in homosexual ways but it is for different psychological reasons rather than biology. Wow! That was a mouthful.

McGreevey himself told America that he was a "Gay American"..he did not say he was a "Bi-sexual American" so I am going by that very public pronouncement. For Dina's ghostwriter to say he is not gay is denial. I believe that if you are bi-sexual, you are what the word implies: both hetero and homosexual. I guess it depends on what mood you are in at a particular time in your life that determines your preference at that particular time. Some people can't choose between vanilla or chocolate ice cream, so they have both on their cone - some even take extra sprinkles/jimmies...I guess what I'm saying is that McGreevey sometimes has a vanilla cone, or a chocolate cone or vanilla/chocolate swirl cone -sometimes plain, sometimes with sprinkles/jimmies...any other ice cream/sexuality analogies anyone?

Peanut butter & jelly, you ought to be ashamed of yourself for suggesting that a Catholic priest had molested McGreevey when you have no proof that this happened.

He was G-A-Y back in the day when he was Mayor of Woodbridge.
The word in the bodegas and on the streets of Perth Amboy, where I was born and raised was that....his first wife found out.She took their daughter Morag and left for her native Canada.
McGreevey was just an opportunist, using his sham marriage to gain the office of
Governor!
There was no other reason for his marriages.
Dina will allege that she had no knowledge of his homosexuality.
I find that incredible that a woman's "sixth sense" would not have drawn a bead on his slutting around.
If you want to feel sorry for anyone in this sordid, salacious opera, feel sorry for the child of this "union".

My uncle was gay but never came out of the closet. He died of AIDS. Back then, there wasn't a name for AIDS so they called it blood cancer. In any case, we all knew he was gay even if he didn't admit it, so I don't know how Dina didn't know or at least suspect that her husband was.

Yes, Diana I've heard many of the
same stories. Back when my first wife was a patient at Sloan-Kettering for Hodgkins'... so many were there at the beginning of this AIDS pandemic. No one had a handle on the situation yet,but it was apparent that there was something terribly wrong going around.
I am neither "homophobic";having a gay brother nor do I condone of that lifestyle.
What McGreevey did to his family was so terribly wrong!
Both he and Dina should fade into obscurity once they've finished with their "fifteen minutes" of fame.

Pete you are 100% correct!!! I personally knew the first wife as I actually worked with her. McGreevey is an opportunistic and both of his marriages were shams. And I also agree strongly that Dina's sixth sense was in some major denial. And to anonymous - get over yourself. I am in no way ashamed of myself AT ALL! You should be ashamed of yourself for being so self righteous. I merely stated my OPINION if you know how to read!!!! I CLEARLY stated that I had no first hand knowledge but was merely stating an opinion. That is what bloggers do you moron. I stated my opinion simply because McGreevey marketed himself as such having a very strong Catholic background when he began politics. If you are anti freedom of expression and into censorship of one's opinions then DO NOT BLOG! Believe me I have nothing to be ashamed of for my opinion because you cannot argue with me that there has not been a HUGE problem with sexual abusers becoming priests in the Catholic Church. I am and have always been a practicing Catholic; however, I strongly disagree with the history of the politics in my church - specificallly the history in dealing with the MANY CHILD PREDATORS WHO ARE CATHOLIC PRIESTS!!! Priests are men they are not God and many of them are child abusers. Maybe McGreevey never was abused, but many many many young children have been. I will not be ashamed of myself for writing that because it reached epidemic proportions in the 1980s. I was part of a parish where our rector molested many altar boys in Middlesex county - some boys who were my peers and friends. So SCREW YOU ANONYMOUS And don't you ever tell me to be ashamed of myself. I am actually quite proud of who I am and I will always state my opinion when I have one.

There is a difference between pedophilia and homosexuality..it is the pedophile who is the deviant, not the homosexual...I think "rector" is derived from rectum..any coincidence?

I guess when Dina saw her medicine cabinet full of KY Jelly and flavored condoms and knew they weren't being used by herself..... that should've raised some questions...I wonder if she's since contacted the first wife in Canada and compared notes?
