GOOD FOR THE GANDER BUT NOT THE GOOSE
Here's a little dilemma.
I have a friend who's a loving, kind and virtuous person, with a childlike innocence about her.
She recently was in the doctor's office waiting room and the TV was tuned to Dr. Phil. As it turned out, the husband of Dr Phil's couple-in-crisis was talking about how his wife should preform more oral sex on him.
Needless to say, my friend found this sexually explicit conversation very offensive, especially since she was stuck listening to it with two strange men in a public place.
This picture is the bloom of a Florida elephant-ear plant. It has been on display in public places.
To some it may look sexual. Others may view it as a beautiful, but unusual, flower. When I took it, I thought it was an unusual bloom that looked beautifully sensual.
So, who's to say?
Maybe my friend should have told the office manager to get the doctor to see her ASAP or she just might up-chuck on someone.

Is your friend also embarrassed by the previous blog's tree #1 photo? It looks a bit phallic to me! I bet there are a lot of converted (perverted) tree-huggers in that neighborhood!
Looks like Gene Simmons tongue to me but upside down. I guess that is sexual...If you like Gene Simmons.
It's a flower. As for Dr. Phil, he's complicit in offering smut to the masses.
you got everyone afraid to comment on this one... :)
Your friend is lucky to have a friend like you who respects her innocence. Some people would make fun of her immaturity. It is one thing to be mature and another to expect respect when in public places.
I think watching any of Dr.Phil's shows is more uncomfortable than talking about sex with your parents.
Join me today when we will discuss tossing salads.
Strangely, I have that exact picture hanging to the right of my bed -- No wonder why my lady guests seek a quick exit when touring my house. Maybe I should contact Dr. Phil ??? or just relocate the picture.
I think Dr. Phil should be taken off television. What kind of entertainment is a program like that considered? In the 50s they called TV the "vast wasteland". Wonder what they would call it today.
In the noble words of Marshall
McCluhan who said,"TV is a medium that is rare when it is well done".
So be it with Dr.Phil and all those of that genre.
These shows are mental manure for the disconnected.
I suspect that couple Diana wrote up could use a little "chlorine in their gene pool"!
Looks like someone has been feeding that plant with viagra vita-grow plant solution! Good thing your friend was not sitting next to that plant in the waiting room while listening to that offensive TV program, she may have needed medical assistance.I say, everyone lighten up..if I were in that waiting room, you can be sure I would've made many jokes to break any awkward silence... humor usually does the trick!
