PAYING THE PIPER
Here's a good reason to avoid going to the beach.
My sister-in-law went to Point Pleasant Beach and parked in a space where you have to display your paid ticket on the dashboard or on the windshield under your inspection sticker.
She placed the $1-a-half-hour ticket on the dashboard and went to enjoy the day.
She also left her windows cracked open.
When she returned 15 minutes before her time was up, (surprise, surprise) there was another ticket from the police on her car.
A $50 one for improperly displaying the parking receipt.
It seems the wind coming in the windows blew the receipt to the other side of the dashboard. It still was in plain view but not under the inspection sticker.
You can't blame municipalities for wanting to make big bucks off those who park illegally during the season, but come on already!
Why does an over-zealous, greedy government come to mind?

YES I LOVE THE BEACH, BUT I AM THE ONE THAT RECEIVED THE TICKET. IT ALSO COST $7 PER PERSON TO ENJOY THE WATER AND SUN AND TO TOP IT OFF ANOTHER $50 BUCKS. IMPROPER DISPLAY, HMMM. THEY SHOULD MAKE THEM STICK ON AND PEEL OFF. BELIKVE ME I WILL NOT CRACK MY WINDOWS AGAIN. IT IS WELL WORTH THE $50 IN MY POCKET TO GET INTO A HOT CAR. WITH ALL THE MONEY THEY MAKE IT SHOULD BE FREE PARKING ANYWAY. GOOD OLE NJ

You got it - good old N.J.- I love the beach-that is what nature has given us-but PLEASE-what I see people get away with and then it seems that some anxious person of authority decides to harass the wholesome folks-Can you believe how very RUDE people are-some group just came to my beach chair and took over my whole spot today-not young people either-RUDE, RUDE-I am happy that God didn't make me a grain of sand!
Say BOLDNESS, Hasn't anyone informed you that you are shouting your message when using upper case lettering to make a statement or is it just your way to show the world how loud you really can be! Take your issues to the Municipal Court of said township & plead your case to the Judge, you may make a difference.That is if you don't shout at the prosecutor or the clerical staff!!
Could careless about improper computer messaging? Give us a break and get a life! Maybe their caps lock key is stuck...By the way, shouldn't you say I couldn't care less! And it isn't careless. Hasn't anyone informed you about the proper use of English.
Hey anonymous, maybe care less' space key got stuck. DMC should know not to put everything uppercase and that it's shouting in 'puter land. From past blogs, it looks like she doesn't know any better. What's wrong with informing the woman that she needs to learn how to blog right?

Was'nt the intent of this article to bring us together to stand up for ourselves against unrealistic government? It is very possible that the above kindergartner comments, if made by qualified voters, contribute to the problems. Maybe Careless should care and make a difference.
hey everybody, LIGHTEN UP!..yeah, I am yelling...can't we all just get along? why all the haters and passive ( not-so-passive) aggressiveness anyway? a lot of people seem to have too much time on their hands! try volunteering!
Well , think twice about Pt Pleasant beach. paying for the beach, too much crowd in the beach, with just elbow room , no parking space for cars, need to park and walk a lot to the beach, and last but not the least getting out of traffic
