HOLIDAY FEVER

I love the Fourth of July.

You can actually celebrate without feeling guilty as with other holidays that have a somber tone.

The only thing I don't like about this time of year is that a lot of co-workers are on vacation, making more work for the rest of us.

One co-worker went to a tractor race that her father was in. She said it was about as exciting as watching paint dry.

And because I usually watch paint dry on my holidays and vacation, this Fourth of July I plan to do just the opposite.

Hopefully, I will be having fun and relaxing. Which means there will be no more blogs until July 5 unless I decide to paint the deck.

So, what kind of fun are you planning?

Well to start off this holiday weekend which is not as long as others, being I have to work on Monday and have Tuesday off. My plans for the 4th of July itself will be to go to Pt. Beach with my daughter and than go visit my hubby in jail (for a traffic offense)The laws are just not fair, when we have other people in this world that REALLY belong in jail for much more serious offenses. The count down has begun and he will be home July 8th. I would love to blog on this issue, if there is anyone who would comment. Otherwise I have 3 partys to attend from Friday - Sunday. And yes I did buy sparklers (my speed) on the internet for the neighborhood children (and me of course) Well I hope my holiday is more fun than watching paint dry.

Hubby knew the consequences of his actions prior to his day in court, the feeling of "above the law" dicipates quickly when you are standing in front of a judge! DUH reality check!!
Don't make the same mistake twice, if you do the crime, best prepare to do the time. Besides look at all the new friends he will make!

I also have to work Monday, bright and early. It's my niece's sweet 16 birthday party today, so I will miss out on the big neighborhood bash. ope to spend Sunday with a trashy novel by the pool. Tuesday is definately beach time with the other 8 million people that populate NJ.

who says he knew before he was going to court! What was explained to us, was if he was to go, it would be 2-8 days! But unfortunely we are not friendly with the police officer that has it out for him, Tired of the harrassment

wake up DMC! they don't put people in jail for minor traffic offenses...obviously he is a repeat offender and he knew darn well what he was facing when he committed the crime... most likely again and again

never again, and thats a fact!! Well if it wasnt for harrasement, maybe we wouldnt be discussing this issue now. I am not saying he did no wrong, I fully agree with consequences for your actions, but could of been lighter, but someone wanted to see him in there so badly.

Wake up and see the light to the error of your ways! People die for less in traffic.A driver must be have full control & capability to wheel around this county, not to mention MADD & the municipal courts. They will brutalize beyond belief, & rightfully so.They have lost loved ones. You may feel harrassed & his crime may be victimless now, but just wait.
