A CYNICAL LOOK AT THE DAILY GRIND

GOING NUTS

Not much of a blog today, just some pictures of nasty, evil-eyed squirrels eating and doing the mating dance in and around my bird feeders.

Blogger dmc sent me this picture of her squirrel. Looks like he's getting Lays-ed, too.

I found there's no such thing as a squirrel-proof feeder as you can see on the YouTube post.

I did, though, find a funny story on the Web about a motorcyclist, a squirrel and some cops. It's a little long but a great laugh-out-loud read.

Then take another look at the blog below with the Jesus image on the sonogram and be thankful you weren't that motorcyclist.

Good story. I enjoyed it. I love squirrels, check out the email I sent you with my "WISE Potato Chip Squirrel". He loves them, he is in the bag and all. Very cute, you may want to share them with the bloggers.

Talk about going nuts!!! Governor Loser Corzine and our losers in the assembly and senate are driving
us nuts by considering raising the gas tax and tolls among other things.
New Jersey Taxpayers, Governor Corzine has come up with two ridiculous proposals to raise the gas tax again on New Jersey residents as well as the tolls. This man's ridiculous proposals MUST be stopped. I urge you to flood e-mails and letters to the governor and your representatives ASAP. Demand that our governor cut all the pork in Trenton before raising any taxes again. Send your e-mails and letters today. It only takes a few minutes. Spread the word to your NJ friends over the internet, etc.and demand that politicians in Trenton start cutting the pork from the budget! Tell the governor and legislators to get creative - cut out all the pork, use lottery assets, and install red-light cameras in every city to raise money to balance the budget! Make your voice heard. They'll be watching and listening.

Thanks and send those e-mails and letters today!

Our friend Arnold has a humane trap set up in his backyard. Every morning he baits and sets the trap. Each night he returns home to check his catch for the day.
Arnold then transports the critter to Nomahegan Park where it is set free.
We are privy to the daily report akin to waiting for the stock market report.
Last count,Arnold is up to 34 squirrels.
Authorities in Nomahegan Park have noticed a sizeable squirrel influx, including one near
5'11" who answers to "The Squirrelinator"

my comment from last week if anyone missed it: when I received the ashes of my pet from the vet in a pretty urn, I put them on the bookshelf so I could pat him on the 'head' everytime I went by. :)

Wish I could send you Luigi Linguini Squirrel eating my pasta out of my garbage can but all I have is a shot of him eating the Italian bread after the meal-it was too funny!
